Note that while a Kansas inmate search is available via KDOC, the site does not contain an offender’s complete criminal history. Note that mail sent to an inmate under the KDOC must also have the sender’s complete name and address. Otherwise, the letter will not be delivered if any important information is missing.

How To Visit an Inmate in Kansas

Inmates in Kansas must first have visiting privileges to be eligible to receive visitors. Each inmate is allowed a maximum of 20 visitors on their approved list of visitors, with a maximum of four (4) visitors per visit.

Visitation privileges depend on the incentive level assigned to the inmate as follows:
